Umbria Announces Client Service and Sales Leadership

 

 

 

BOULDER, Colo., November 2, 2005 -- Umbria, Inc., a market intelligence company that analyzes and distills opinions and perceptions of the online world from millions of blogs, message boards, opinion sites and other public forums , today announced the addition of two members to its executive team. Luci Sheehan will serve as Vice President of Sales, and Bill
Tuohig joins as Vice President of Client Services.

Sheehan will lead Umbria’s sales team in identifying new and existing client opportunities. Sheehan has more than 25 years of sales, management and consulting experience in the consumer products industry.


Prior to joining Umbria, Sheehan was president of Wendell Park Associates, a sales and marketing consultancy, where she revitalized established businesses, developed sales organizations and helped clients create market success.


A pioneer in cultivating Internet solutions in the consumer products industry, Sheehan began her career at Procter & Gamble, where she became the company’s first female district manager. Sheehan has also held various leadership sales and marketing positions at Whittle
Communications, Neo, Inc., The Ferolie Group, Catalina Marketing and Merchandising Corporation of America. Sheehan holds a bachelor’s degree in management and history from Simmons College in Boston and is currently a board member of the Network of Executive Women.


Bill Tuohig, Vice President of Client Services


As Vice President of Client Services, Bill Tuohig will be responsible for overseeing Umbria’s client relationships. Prior to joining Umbria, Tuohig was with Informative Inc., a technology and services company focused on leveraging the voice of the customer to build customer advocacy
programs. Tuohig established Informative’s Solutions Consulting group, responsible for creating strategic advocacy programs for Fortune 500 companies.


Tuohig started his career in Big-5 consulting companies and has held positions at Coopers & Lybrand, American Management Systems, Deloitte Consulting, and Sapient. He holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a bachelor of science in
Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
